What this policy covers

How we collect and use information on this website (the Chinese and English versions). We handle personal data in line with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act. This policy does not cover third-party websites or apps we link to, such as LINE, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.

Information you send us

When you contact us through our contact form, we receive the details you enter: name, phone, email and message. When you request a free SEO audit, we also receive your website address, your competitors' names and websites, and the keywords you provide. We use this only to respond to your enquiry, provide the service you asked for, and follow up on it.

When you submit a form we also receive information about how you found our site, including the search or advertising source that brought you here, when you first and last visited, and the pages you viewed before contacting us. Until you submit a form this stays in your own browser. It helps us understand which of our marketing works.

If you use the AI chatbot on this site, the messages you type are processed by our chatbot service to answer your questions. If you tap a LINE or WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place in that app and its own privacy policy applies.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. It collects: pages viewed, approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, the site that referred you, and interactions such as clicks on phone, email, LINE, WhatsApp or contact buttons. We also use the Google Ads tag to measure our advertising. This data is processed by Google. For visitors in the EU/UK, Google Analytics and Google Ads only use cookies after you accept them and are otherwise limited to anonymous, cookieless measurements; for other visitors they are on by default and you can turn them off at any time in Cookie Settings.

Cookies and your choices

A consent banner lets you accept, reject, or customise cookie categories. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Settings” control in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, and manage personalised ads in yourGoogle Ad Settings. Rejecting cookies does not affect browsing this site or using our forms.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with the service providers that operate this site: Google (analytics and ad measurement), Cloudflare (hosting, and Turnstile spam protection on our forms), Zoho ZeptoMail (delivery of form emails), and our AI chatbot service. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years after our last contact, so we can help with follow-up questions and projects. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months.

Your rights

Under Article 3 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask to review or obtain a copy of your personal data, to supplement or correct it, to stop its collection, processing or use, and to have it deleted. You may also withdraw cookie consent at any time via Cookie Settings. To exercise these rights, use ourContact page or email contact@globalsense.com.tw. Visitors in the EU/UK also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
